Identity Crisis........

its weekend again... bcoz right now, there are only a few malls here, come weekend and all the people in the city along with all their cats and dogs throng to these few malls. and the stamepede starts.. but then that is ok... no problem... we are used to pushing and shoving... bcoz we Indians are tolerant people...... the air is full of smell of corn (masala corn.. cheese corn.. God knows wat else..), popcorn, pizza, cakes, chocolates and what not...
still ok...

the only pathetic thing is most of the crowd in the age group of 20 - 45 (hopefully) are wearing their company ID cards.. for God's sake... the card is around our neck like a dog's chain from monday 8:00 am to friday 7 pm. ok agreed bcoz the company is paying for our bread and butter.. and bcoz we are loyal (hahahahah) or bcoz we will be fined if we dont put them around our neck.. we have to use them...

but really i feel all the people wearing them even on weekends are suffering from a major
identity crisis. me thinks they have this need to be noticed.. or some worse than that....
it has become a sort of status symbol.. Thank God and the companies for not mentioning teh designation on the cards.. i dont even want to imagine what would have been the size of the ID cards then...

the other day it was our new year (Ugadi).. so i went to say hi to God... lo and behold.. there is identity crisi at the place of God too.. there was this guy who had put on his ID card... God save all of us.....

most of them are from the service industry... and most of the are Saaaftware engineers...who are coding on Voracle and Jaaaava. ( i dont mean to offend any one.. in fact i work for one of the saaftware companies too...well sort of)...

i am unable to find a proper end to this blog. thats it.
